Mark loves physiotherapy! This is a natural extension from his long time interest in how the human body functions, and his desire to help people. By combining hands-on treatment with therapeutic exercise, Mark maximizes physical function to help his patients live a strong and highly functional life.
An athlete himself (hockey and wrestling), Mark has personal experience with return to high-level performance through rehabilitation following his myriad injuries! Mark focuses his attention to treating the root cause of his patients’ pathologies, not just symptoms. His treatment preferences include manual therapy and exercise of course, but also, importantly, injury relevant education.
Mark is registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. He received his Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto and is certified in Soft Tissue Release. He also completed a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology from McMaster University, where he spent 3 years working as a Human Anatomy & Physiology Teaching Assistant.
Mark is an excellent choice for any client looking forward to a return to optimal function.
